Martin Posts Cover Art for The Blood King

Author Gail Z. Martin has posted the cover art for the upcoming novel, The Blood King on www.ChroniclesOfTheNecromancer.com. The Blood King is the sequel to the bestselling debut novel The Summoner, released by UK-based Solaris Books in February 2007. The Blood King is slated for release in February 2008.
Prior to posting the art, Martin hosted a global online sneak peek event on June 21, the summer solstice. The “Hawthorn Moon Event” partnered with six science fiction web sites around the globe, including SolarisBooks.com, SFSignal.com, DarkAnimus.com, FantasyBlogspot.com, BookLoons.com,
and InfinityPlus.com.
The Blood King is the second book in the Chronicles of the Necromancer series. Book One: The Summoner was released in the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia in late January, and sold through its first printing in just three weeks. Now on its third printing, The Summoner is available in bookstores and online around the world. The Blood King concludes the story of Tris Drayke, an outlaw prince must master his untested spirit magic to avenge his family, unseat a usurper and keep an ancient evil from escaping the abyss.
