Meet Gail Martin
Owner, DreamSpinner Communications

Gail Martin spent nearly 20 years in corporate and consulting roles before launching DreamSpinner Communications.  She has worked with non-profit and for-profit organizations in many industries, including: health care, trade associations, professional services, food and beverage, real estate, utilities, banking, software/information services and more. Her professional background includes positions with Duke Energy, CarolinaHome.com and Signet Bank. 

 

In addition to her consulting work, Gail is an adjunct professor for UNC Charlotte and who teaches public speaking, public relations writing and corporate communications strategies.  She also teaches webinars and teleseminars for MarketingProfs.com, PlanetDDS.com, SmartWomensCoaching.com, WomensCommunity.com, AuthorOneStop.com and a growing list of business associations and Chambers of Commerce.

 

Gail’s articles have appeared in over 40 publications.  Recent articles have appeared in Ventures Charlotte, Charlotte Parent, BusinessToday, SouthPark Magazine, Charlotte Weekly, Saathee, University City Magazine, Cabarrus Business and Sojourners Magazine. 

 

Gail is the author of the Chronicles of the Necromancer fantasy adventure series.  Book One: The Summoner was released by Solaris Books/Simon & Schuster in February, 2007.  Book Two: The Blood King launched in February 2008.  Book Three: Dark Haven is scheduled for a February 2009 release.  Gail's books are represented by The Ethan Ellenberg Literary Agency in Manhattan. Gail holds an MBA from The Pennsylvania State University, and a BA from Grove City College.  She is a member of the following organizations: Cabarrus Regional Chamber of Commerce, eWomenNetwork, North Carolina Writers Network, Science Fiction Writers of America (SFWA).  She is on the advisory board for Smart Women's Coaching and is a faculty member for AuthorOneStop.
